Make ONE Change!

Is your student getting the results they want this semester? If not, now is the time to help them think about ONE thing they can do differently to make the rest of the semester a success.

Ideas you can suggest to your student:

  • Visit TA or Professor office hours

  • Reflect on the exams you’ve taken so far and see what you would do the same or differently for upcoming exams

  • Look for extra credit opportunities

  • Re-read all the syllabi so you are clear on expectations and grading

  • Make sure you complete any required observation hours (often mandatory in Intro to Psych classes at larger universities)

  • Complete all assignments and projects that you can get done now before the stress of end of semester craziness

  • Utilize free tutoring and study sessions on campus

  • Make an effort to attend ALL your classes

Often making ONE small change can have a big outcome!

College Success Plan programs encourage students to become more independent and refine their life skills. Planning ahead, communicating with professors, taking on leadership roles, and engaging in extracurricular activities all lead to a gratifying and balanced college experience.

Students look forward to weekly virtual sessions that help them stay on track and in control. Better grades, increased autonomy, lessened stress, and an overall sense of well-being are just a few of the ways we are ensuring the success of our students.
