Student-Tested!
"This program has more useful content than all of the other college prep books and programs on the market combined. Even before I stepped into my first college classroom I was using Gunnar’s hints and ideas to prepare myself to succeed… if I could give one piece of advice to incoming college freshman and high school seniors it would be ‘GET THIS PROGRAM’"

Freshman, Construction Engineering

"I used your study skills and raised my overall G.P.A. from a 2.4 to a 3.6 in a single semester. The best thing about discovering your program is that I'm enjoying my classes again for the first time since high school. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Angie L.
Sophomore, University of Texas
"Since using your study methods and career advice in law school I have been "kicking ass" in a big way. My academic confidence has made a huge difference in how I carry myself during job interviews. I already have a great offer lined up with a prestigious Law Firm earning over six figures! Honestly, I am amazed by the difference in my performance. I wasn't the most organized student in college and got by with average grades... It took seeing the real world and experiencing stressful paycheck-to-paycheck life as a police officer for me to realize just how important education really is... In the next two years I will totally change my family's quality of life. Thank you, Mr. Fox! You're helping a lot of people achieve their dreams."

"The first 'How to Succeed in College' program that didn't give me a pounding headache. Great tips, Gunnar! You rock!"
Mike Scott
Freshman, UCLA
"Geared toward the 'Cool, a professor who swears!' college-bound group, these materials are masterfully written, albeit in a laid-back style, and contain a ton of useful information. The author recognizes that this time is very difficult for students who are trying to balance school, work... and having fun at the same time."

"I loved your program. Now I don't feel 'freaked out' about school since I know exactly how to keep making A's from now until graduation. I also know exactly what to do to get the career I want after college. Thanks, bro."

The Latest From Our Mailbag...

Gunnar,

I wish your program had been out when my two sons started their college years. I feel it is a MUST for those in the know. We will be ordering additional copies for relatives now that high school graduation is approaching.

I loved the program. In fact, I just finished it. Now I'm about to start it again. :) Thanks so much. Loved it, and I am sure I will love the software. Keep kicking ass!

Hi Gunnar,

I purchased your program and I wanted to write to you and give you a big THANK YOU!

I'm returning to college in the spring. I have 4 more classes before I transfer to UCLA. I was feeling very intimidated by the thought of going to a university. After listening to your program, I feel a lot more confident about the process and I have a guideline of actions to take. …I had really been concerned a how different things might be when I get to UCLA. I appreciate the things that you've demystified and clarified for me.

I'm going to make appointments to see a guidance counselor and a financial aid counselor asap. I love the advice you gave on taking notes; study habits; scheduling rewrites; reading your papers out loud; getting an edge by building good relationships with your professors and teacher's assistants; and writing thank you notes.

I really appreciate the organized, concise and fun way you delivered this information, and I'm sure I will study the program over and over again.

Thank you so much!

Hi!

I just bought your program, and I can't put it down! I am learning what I need to know not only for college, but it is helping me learn how to believe in myself and grow. I am 27 years old, and I am now going to college on-line. I am so nervous because it has been a while since I had to study or take an exam. This information is giving me the confidence not only to graduate, but graduate with kick ass grades!

Thanks!!

BTW- my college accepts CLEP test credits. I would have never known if I hadn't gotten this program!!

I've read most of the materials and I found them very enlightening. I'm a senior in high school looking to move on to college to become a nurse. Your program I think will be a great help to me.

Thanks
Doug
Thanks for the badass college program, I just finished. I was sick of all the wishy-washy bullsh*t I was being fed by college advisors and such. Good rockin!

Hi Gunnar Fox,

I am going to be a freshman and I recently finished your book, Kick Ass in College. I loved your blunt advice, and most influential, new perspective that I got from the book was that college is a job.

Personal Note:

I have never stepped outside of my role as a reviewer on-line before but think I should now. As the mother of a high school senior and a junior, this book really struck a chord with me. I have given my copy to my senior who is finding it to be a fantastic view of her future with concrete, understandable advice she can follow. As a successful high school student it is very familiar to her. She is also enjoying the read! When she is done it will go immediately to her sister who has this all to look forward to in another year! Sometimes a reviewer’s role runs right into reality. Lucky for my family and me this is one of those cases! Thank you Gunnar for sharing this book with us!

As college becomes an option for more students it has become increasingly important for them to be properly prepared for college life. But by the time they are seniors they have generally stopped listening to too much the adults around them are saying! This is where Kick Ass in College comes in. Gunnar Fox has found the way to write an invaluable, step by step guide to the whole process that will grab students' (and their parents') interest and keep them reading until the last page.

In an easy to follow, engaging format Fox explains success in college as the cornerstone for success in life. By addressing each aspect, from why good grades really are important, to getting to know your professors to study habits and dealing with love, he covers all the nitty gritty of college life. Its emphasis on grades as a means to success in life after school give meaning and motivation to the structured study habits he describes in this book. The bold-faced section headings and the Key Points in the chapter summaries give the readers sign posts throughout the book to follow and refer back to for information. The book manages to be extremely entertaining while giving seriously good suggestions and information.

Kick Ass in College's excellent advice should be read by all college-bound students and their parents. It will give our students the extra edge they need to be prepared both for life at college and a pathway to their future success. As college becomes an expectation for most students, schools are overwhelmed by "No Child Left Behind" requirements and parents themselves may never have a post-secondary education, Gunnar Fox's book is a well-needed dose of reality and information.

This book should be the number one graduation gift for all graduating seniors. It is like giving each student a gift of his own personal, enjoyable academic coach with a great sense of humor to accompany him to college. What could be a better, more useful gift?
